Okay here's a quick FAQ for all the new members:
General
Q: What is Star Wars Realm?
A: Star Wars Realm is a forum that is purely fan based. Everyone who loves Starwars is welcome here. ^^
Staff Related/Member ranks:
Q: Who are the staff of SWR?
A: Phoenix (Head admin), Kira (Head admin/Main account.), and Saber (2nd in command admin)
Q:Why was I demoted?
A: Because you were doing one of the following:
-Abusing your rank.
-Being immature.
-Not coming on the forum for long periods of time(Staff only.)
Okay. That's about it. Just three quick questions. I'll add more if I think of any.

All right now time for Saber to add some more SWR FAQs.
Q: Where do I post my character?
A: If you want to make a character go to Character Creation and make a profile. Here is the link: Profile Guidelines starwarsrelm.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=ocprofiles&action=display&thread=106
Q: What’s this site’s plot? What time period does it take place in?
A: To find out what’s been going on in the forum’s plot you should go to the Plot Area and find out what you need to know. You can also read about a new plot up in the Update located on the left side of the Forum. There is also a timeline posted in the left side corner of the site archieve page.
Q: Where did you get ____ code from for your forum?
A: Looking for codes? You can find just about everything you need right here: support.proboards.com/index.cgi?b....ay&thread=70177
If the code you are looking for isn’t anywhere in that index you can request one through this link. Be sure to read the rules before requesting a code however.

Q: How do I do this affiliate thing?
A: After seeing this question one too many times I’ve finally decided to answer it here. First, if you already have an Affiliate table on your forum, then you should go here:
Make sure to read the thread "READ HERE FIRST" before posting anything. You'd think that'd go without saying but... guess not. XD
If you do not have your own Affiliate table...
Code:
<table width='92%' cellspacing='1' cellpadding='4' class='bordercolor' align='center'>
<tr>
<td class='catbg' align="center" colspan='2'>
<font color="FFFFFF" size="2">
<b><center><font style="filter:glow(color=9C9C9C, strength=2); height: 2;">Affiliates</font></center></b>
</font>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td width='79%' class='windowbg2' valign='top'>
<marquee onmouseover="this.stop()" onmouseout="this.start()" direction="left" scrollamount="3">
</marquee>
</td>
<td width='21%' valign='top' class='windowbg2' align='center'>
<img src="YOUR MINI BANNERS URL" /><br />
<a href="AFFILIATE BOARD URL">Click Here to Affiliate!</a>
</td>
</tr>
</table>
Okay first, put this code into your Main Footers. You can find the Main Footers by going into the Admin area and clicking on "Headers/Footers"
Second, you're going to need a mini banner. You can make these with paint or photoshop or request one to be made for you Heresupport.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=gdr All mini banners are usually 88x31 pixels in size.
Finally all you have to do is edit the code where I typed in all caps with your mini banners URL and the URL of your Affiliate board on your site. The affiliate codes for other boards go into the space above where it says </marquee>
Code:
<a href="YOUR FORUMS URL" Target="_blank">
<img src="MINI BANNER URL" width=88 height=31 border=0 alt="FORUM NAME"></a>
This is the code for YOUR mini banner to give to other sites. All you have to do is replace the capital letters with the URL of your forum and mini banner image, and also your forums name.
Q: How do I get an avatar? Or get pictures in my signature?
A: First you need to find a picture you like. Once you find a picture you need to host it. imageshack.us/ and photobucket.com/ are both great sites to do this with.
Once you’ve got your picture, right click it. In the menu that appears, go to the bottom and select "Properties". This will give you description of the picture including its Address (URL). Highlight the URL and copy it.
The next step depends on where you want to put it, for an avatar click the "Profile" button underneath the banner, then "Modify Profile". Next you want to paste your pictures URL in the box next to "Avatar URL", then set the size of the picture appropriately in the two boxes underneath that. *NOTE: Avatar size can be set to no larger than 100 x 100 pixels.*
To put the picture into your signature, follow similar steps as for the avatar. Click "Profile" then "Modify Profile", then scroll down to the box labeled "Signature". In order to have a picture display properly in a sig or in a post or anywhere else, the pic's URL must be surrounded by and [/IMG].

*EDIT* I have added more FAQs to this.-Saber[/size]
